What To Expect

When you start a doctor supported weight loss program.

Individualized Weight Loss

Your specific health at any given time makes you successful or dooms you to failure.

Success happens when we match your medical baseline to the best weight loss and health tools available.

Here’s a look at our toolbox. What we do is unique to your situation. If you need a nail, we provide the hammer. We wouldn’t give you a screwdriver. Our approach to weight loss is much the same.

Our Tools

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive enzymes help digestion and properly assimilate key nutrients into your body. Your body will feel satisfied and will curb your hunger cravings. This is especially helpful if you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), nutrient deficiencies and mineral deficiencies. You might be saying to yourself, “but I take vitamins.” If you’re not making your own enzymes, all those vitamins can go to waste.

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting puts your body in a fat-burning state. However, fasting can be dangerous if not done properly. If you start fasting you must monitor muscle mass, heart functions, and metabolism. Fasting can be helpful if you suffer from obesity and/or diabetes. If you are not properly fasting, your body never has a chance to burn fat and continues to use the fuel (food) you supply.

Muscle Mass Trending & Evaluations

Muscle mass trending & evaluations is one of the most important aspects of a doctor-supported program. We continue to monitor your muscle mass and health. We don’t want your body to think the famine is coming and start storing fat and breaking down muscle. When you go too low in your calorie intake you can cause major damage. And that point of destruction is different for everyone. The only way to find your sweet spot for maximum weight loss in a safe environment is through regular monitoring.

Vitamin Supplements

You are probably familiar with vitamins. You might even be taking a multivitamin. While we encourage vitamin supplements, we don’t like taking vitamins for the sake of taking a vitamin.

Proper use of vitamin supplements supports weight loss by assessing your body’s unique needs. Not everybody needs the same vitamins and supplements, and we don’t encourage guessing. Having too much of a nutrient can create imbalances and may negatively affect your metabolism. Don’t guess. Test!

Hormone Support

Obesity can cause a resistance to hormone communication. As you lose weight, communication improves and hormone function becomes more efficient. You may need hormone support at any time during your weight loss program. You need to monitor your hormone levels and support them through various supplements. When you lose weight without hormone support, you may get moody, experience extreme cravings, and feel lethargic. Measuring hormones is extremely important if you suffer from hypothyroidism, obesity, or diabetes.

Bile Salts

You may have been told you don’t need your gallbladder to survive. While this is true, you do need a functioning gallbladder to coordinate your metabolism. If your gallbladder isn’t functioning properly, bile salts can help make your cells function efficiently while supporting your digestion and your metabolism. You have trillions of cells, you want them all to make energy. When your cells don’t make efficient energy, you crave more food and more calories, and you get fatter.

Herbal Supplements

Herbal supplements can be used to improve sleep quality, a major factor in weight gain. We’ve found that if you don’t sleep, you don’t lose weight. While you sleep your body produces important hormones that give you energy. Without these hormones, you need more calories. But your body doesn’t burn these calories. It stores them. Herbal supplements help break the cycle, produce important hormones, and stop the cravings for sweets, caffeine, and carbs.

BMI & Weight Trending

Okay, so you don’t need a doctor for this one. But, this is how we measure success. Our goal is always to get you into a healthy weight range. Did you know, people with a BMI over 30 spend on average $1901 a year in additional medical care expenses?

Accountability Tracking

You know how hard it is to change habits without accountability. And this is our secret weapon when it comes to our program. Your personal app is customized to your plan and together we can track & evaluate your progress.
